Magellan now conducts in-person site visits

Virtual site visits also still available

Magellan conducts site visits with providers to assess the quality of care and services provided, evaluate adherence to policies and procedures, and support various quality improvement activities.

Due to the pandemic, we have been conducting site visits with District of Columbia Medicaid providers virtually. However, due to the latest guidance from the CDC, Magellan has resumed in-person site visits.

If your practice or organization is scheduled for a site visit from Magellan, our Network provider relations team will coordinate with you to determine the method that works best for you.
