Magellan retrieves recredentialing info from CAQH

To streamline processes and reduce the burden associated with recredentialing, Magellan has retired our online recredentialing application. We now access recredentialing information for providers only via CAQH^®, which is the industry standard for credentialing and recredentialing.

“We found that only a small number of providers used the MagellanProvider.com recredentialing application, and most of those who did also maintain a CAQH ProView profile,” said Lisa Frank, Magellan’s senior director of credentialing operations.

Please ensure that you:

• Continually attest to and keep your CAQH ProView profile up to date with your current credentials, e.g., license, board certification, insurance.
• Authorize Magellan to access your application.

In most cases, if we can retrieve a current and complete application, you will not need to do anything else! If you don’t currently have a CAQH ProView profile, create one at http://proview.caqh.org. Click on the “register now” link in the lower right-hand corner of the page.

Note: Washington state providers may continue to use One Health Port for credentialing and recredentialing.
