Billing Medicaid for services to BCBS TX members?

Ensure your service location is enrolled in PEMS.

If you are part of Magellan’s network for Texas Medicaid, you must also be enrolled in Texas Medicaid to be eligible for reimbursement.

To comply with this state and contractual requirement, use the online Provider Enrollment and Management System (PEMS) tool to enroll each of your service locations with the State at https://www.tmhp.com/topics/provider-enrollment.

A step-by-step guide regarding PEMS can be found by accessing the Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) website:

You may also contact TMHP for assistance by calling 1-800-925-9126, option 3.

Failure to enroll your service location address(es) may result in your removal from Magellan’s Texas Medicaid network.
