Providing culturally responsive care for Asian Americans
A virtual lunch-and-learn, May 21
Join Magellan as we welcome Claudine Lucena, MA, LMFT, LPC, of Anise Health, for an upcoming lunch-and-learn session on providing culturally responsive care for Asian Americans.
People of color are half as likely to receive effective mental health care and are at increased risk of dropping out of treatment prematurely.
In this session, you will:
- Learn common themes, stressors, and prevalence of presenting issues for Asian Americans seeking help
- Explore a culturally responsive framework (ANVIET) that you can incorporate into your practice
- Discover ways to work with Asian American clients from a culturally informed perspective
