Increase your potential for Magellan referrals — join our EAP network

(With opportunity to serve Federal members)

If you already participate with Magellan in our behavioral health network, why not join our network for Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) to provide short-term, non-medical counseling to members of our employer clients’ plans, including those who serve our country?

Magellan welcomes providers to our network for EAP services in many locations across the country. Providers with five years’ paid behavioral health work experience also qualify for additional referrals for members of Federal EAPs.

To be in the EAP network, you must be credentialed and add the signed EAP addendum and reimbursement schedule to your Magellan Agreement.

Magellan provider credentialing criteria

If you are already credentialed for the Magellan behavioral health network, you will have already met these criteria:
  • Licensure/education
    • All providers must hold a current license in their specialty at the highest level in the state in which they practice.
    • All providers must have a valid National Provider Identifier (NPI).
  • Liability
    • Physicians must carry $1 million (per occurrence)/$3 million (aggregate) in liability insurance, and all other providers must have $1 million/$1 million.
