Texas providers: Complete Medicaid enrollment revalidation
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) has asked managed care organizations, including Magellan,* to help providers complete Medicaid enrollment revalidation.
Why this matters
If you provide services in Magellan’s Texas Medicaid network for Dell Children’s Health Plan members, you must revalidate your enrollment with HHSC through the Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) Provider Enrollment and Management System (PEMS).This applies to solo practitioners, group practices, and facilities.
Magellan manages behavioral health, substance use disorder, and Senate Bill 58 services for Dell Children’s Health Plan STAR and CHIP members, along with autism services for STAR members.
Take action now

Quick tips from TMHP
- Enroll and revalidate through the TMHP PEMS system.
- Verify your email address in the Provider Information tab to receive important updates.
- Check your revalidation date in your PEMS dashboard or Provider Information tab.
- Revalidation is complete only when your status shows “Closed–Enrolled.”
