Over 175 providers joined Magellan's town hall in September
Magellan Behavioral Health of Pennsylvania (Magellan) hosted a virtual provider town hall meeting in September to strengthen relationships with providers.
Over 175 providers attended the webinar.
The town hall offered an opportunity for Magellan leadership to share updates on the organization’s key priorities
and initiatives, as well as for providers to share feedback and ask questions.
“I really want to thank all of you, the providers, for the fabulous, fantastic work that you’ve done over the last six months,” expressed Jim Leonard, CEO, Magellan Behavioral Health of Pennsylvania. “Despite many challenges…people have brought their creativity, energy, good ideas, and commitment forward to ensure at the end of the day, members and families that we work with are experiencing this high-quality care that they deserve.”
The town hall offered an opportunity for Magellan leadership to share updates on the organization’s key priorities and initiatives, as well as for providers to share feedback and ask questions. Additional updates were also discussed regarding the NCQA Multicultural Healthcare Distinction, Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS), provider profiles, incident reporting, an integrated treatment record review tool, a new retro review form review, and certified peer support information.
The staff presentations were led by Mitch Fash, network manager, and included representatives from quality, recovery and resiliency, clinical, and network.
